Ian C.:
I think it's great that the Cala Bona Hotel has made the view from its webcam available, but can't understand why so many people use the comments box as a general Cala Bona social site. Discussing other hotels in the area on the website seems very intrusive.

we have been comeing to hotel cala bona for twenty one years and still carnt wate to go back its brill very frendly very clean and very loveley

Ian C.:
I first stayed in Cala Millor/Cala Bona in the late 1960s. Went back there each year until 1973 when I was compere at the Caracola nightclub, and played guitar for the season on the Salvador and Venezuela boat trips. These were a lot of fun, so different from the commercial-looking ones of today. The Cala Bona end of the resort was then quite dowdy and quiet, and Cala Millor was smart and lively. Cala Bona is beautiful now, but Cala Millor.......?

jill:
just carnt wate to go back

Ian Colley:
Been going to Cala Bona / Millor since 1970. Played guitar on the Salvador and Venezuela boat trips and in the Caracola nightclub in the 1973 season. Cala Bona and is a different place now, very clean and smart, and the Cala Bona Hotel is a gem...back there in April 2012....disappointed in Cala Millor though, appears a bit tatty round the edges these days.

Nicola:
We stayed in Levante Park last 2 years, and love it, but I'm seriously fancying the Hotel Cala Bona, entertainment is the best in the resort beautiful views of the harbour and you can handpick your room by booking direct and it gets great reviews at trip advistor. We have booked the Levante Park for next June again as its lush, clean, great staff and entertainment, Food is fantastic, but love Cala Bona so much that we fancy a cheeky week next September / October so may go to the Cala Bona Hotel then as they have deals on in the Autumn. Also very handy for the delicious sandwiches at the fabulous Julie's Sweet Shop, you've got to go there, its a must x

August 25, 2011

Pat C:
Mitch,
I have been going to Cala Bona for several years now and have enjoyed every hotel ive been, have stayed in Floriana, Bahia Azul and Alicia which are all Protur Hotels,Alicia being the best I think, also Catalonia Consul and next year im staying in hotel Cala Bona, all these hotels are half board, hope this helps you.

August 25, 2011

JACKIE:
MITCH

WE STAYED AT THE BONAIRE. VERY GOOD
CLEAN AND PLENTY TO DO IF YOU LIKE THAT KIND OF THING. WE USED THOMSON HOLIDAYS NOT ALL INCLUSIVE. SO WE WERE ABLE TO WANDER TO DIFFERENT BARS AND RESTAURANTS.

August 25, 2011

mitch:
Just got back stayed at sol y mar? what can i say .Does anyone know adecent hotel.

August 24, 2011

dave:
Came back yesterday 23rd and yes it was hot above 40 degrees TV crew there it was hotter than mainland spain

August 24, 2011

Pat C:
Hi Paul, where did you stay in CB? and was it as hot as it said on the net 32-36 degrees :-)

August 23, 2011

Paul:
Just back from Cala Bona...Brilliant as ever...

August 23, 2011

Pat C:
Hi davedeke, it will be my 30th anniversary in 2013 so really wanna do something different. Doubt it will be Hawaii more than likely to be Greece, Cyprus as dont like to long a flight. Gran Canaria was enough at 4.5

August 23, 2011

JACKIE:
Ann-marie

Web cam for Can Picafort is switched off at the moment.

August 23, 2011

davedeke:
Hi PatC , itsmy 25th next year (24th yesterday). So I will be abroad for that. Just not sure where yet.I may even try and persuade my wife to try Cyprus, as I want to visit the historic sites near Paphos.I hope you get your own way and get to Hawaii (I have no chnce my wife is scared to death of flying, so short flights only).

August 21, 2011

Pat C:
hi davedeke, hubby and i keep saying lets go somewhere different but we love cala bona so no sooner we return and we book for the following year. We often say mainland spain or the canaries. Next year as i said we will be cala bona and then miss the year after as the following year is a special wedding anniversary, so hopefully Hawaii, Caribbean :-)

August 21, 2011

Ann-marie :
is there any more web cams of cala millor or can picafort ?

August 21, 2011

davedeke:
Hi Pat C, I did read your posting, but then forgot to put on where I stayed. I stayed at the Hotel Sur, The family who run it were brilliant, even getting the staff in thekitchen to make my brother something to eat on his last day (at 6am) so he didnt have to leave on an empty stoumach.I will probably regret going elsewhere, but its a big continent (europe) and i need to see some more of it.Im going to either go to Mainland Spain or Portugal, I may even be tempted further afield, not decided yet. I hope anyone who hasnt had their Holiday has a great time, and for those that have, I hope the wait for next time doesnt drag to much.
